Budapest, Hungary, 28 March 2019: SMBC Aero Engine Lease B.V. is pleased to announce that the sale and lease back of one V2533-A5 SelectTwo engine (ESN V18834) for Wizz Air Hungary Ltd(“Wizz Air”) has been completed.
The aircraft engine was successfully delivered on Friday, 22 March to the airline’s Hungarian premises.
SMBC Aero Engine Lease B.V. has previously leased another engine to Wizz Air in 2015 and this is the second aircraft engine leased to the airline.
Wizz Air is one of the fastest growing airlines in Europe and SMBC Aero Engine Lease B.V. is pleased to expand its relationship with the carrier through this new project, and to support their further growth.
