Jort joined SMBC Aero Engine Lease B.V. in 2021 and is mainly responsible for wide-body-engine types.

After his graduation from the University of Haarlem with a bachelor degree of Science in aeronautical engineering, his career in aviation began at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.  Jort worked for 15 years at KLM in various positions and is experienced in all aspects of technical documentation and lease returns.

His fascination for aviation has been passed on by his grandfather.
